For 35 years the government-funded Motability Scheme has helped more than three million disabled people stay mobile by allowing them to exchange their mobility allowance to lease a car. Toomey Basildon has teamed up with Peugeot to offer a varied range of great cars capable of meeting most motoring requirements.
With nine Peugeot vehicles currently available on the scheme you can choose from a range of cars such as the efficient Peugeot 208 and Peugeot 107 hatchbacks to the practical Peugeot 2008 SUV, and even the ultra-sporty Peugeot RCZ.
Motability is a national charity and the Toomey Motor Group is extremely proud to be associated with it. The Motability Scheme enables disabled people to lease a new car directly from us and if you receive any of the following then you may be eligible to join:
There is no upper age limit and parents or guardians can order a car on behalf of their child if they are aged three or older. Up to two named drivers can be included as part of the lease, so even if you can't drive yourself, you can take advantage of the scheme.
Benefits of the scheme include:
Once you have confirmed your eligibility, one of our expert Motability staff members will talk you through the Peugeot cars available. When you have decided on the right model for you, we will complete the order online for you. You will receive an acceptance letter in the post with a Personal Identification Number and you need to bring this with you when you collect your car. Delivery times can vary depending on your choice of model and any adaptations required, but we will keep you constantly updated on the progress of your car. To find out more about the Motability Scheme, visit us at our showroom on West Mayne, just to the west of Basildon, where our specialist staff will guide you through the options.
