Combining the space of an MPV with an SUV's road presence, the Citroën C3 Picasso is a five-seater vehicle that makes the most of Citroën's unique 'Spacebox' design. Motorists will enjoy the spacious interior, particularly as it is coupled with city-friendly exterior dimensions.
Every aspect of the interior has been crafted to provide the highest possible levels of luxury and legroom. Luggage space is 385 litres with all the seats in place, but the flexible seating allows a maximum capacity of 1,506 litres if necessary. Storage solutions are included throughout the vehicle cabin, enabling the easy storage of maps, documents or other important items.
Four engines are available to power the C3 Picasso line - two petrol engines, and two diesel engines. These are all four-cylinder versions, and they offer choice between five and six-speed manual gearboxes, and a six-speed ETG variation. The sprightly 120hp petrol unit can return 0-62mph acceleration in 10.9 seconds and a theoretical top speed of 117mph. A less speedy but more frugal option is the 90hp diesel engine, which achieves combined fuel consumption of 68.9mpg, and CO2 emissions of 107g/km.
A number of airbags are included to provide top levels of safety, including driver's and front passenger's airbag, front lateral airbags, and curtain airbags along the vehicle's sides. ISOFIX mounting points are included in the rear for the safe and easy installation of child safety seats, and all seats have an unfastened seatbelt warning. Drive safety systems include ABS with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution and Emergency Braking Assistance, and the Electronic Stability Programme, allowing the driver to maintain vehicle control at all times.

The C3 Picasso's rugged, chunky looks make it an imposing sight on the road, despite its comparatively modest length of just over four metres. The bold front grille and prominent foglights especially emphasise the car's capabilities, while the gentle curve of the high roofline accentuates the heft of the car's structure (whilst also resulting in excellent headroom for taller passengers).
In-car entertainment is provided by the RDS radio/MP3 CD player, which has steering wheel-mounted controls and broadcasts from four speakers within the cabin. The multifunction onboard trip computer communicates information such as fuel consumption, distance covered and average speed, keeping motorists up-to-date on every aspect of the C3 Picasso.
